2021 was a unique—and at times uniquely challenging—year! Over the past twelve months we’ve learned and grown in numerous ways, as a company and as individuals. We also implemented over 389 innovations suggested by our users. As we look forward to 2022, we want to take a look back and celebrate some of our shared successes!
The jmc Family App: The app provides a 360º view of a student's life at school to families on the go. Send lunch money, check grades, find activities, and communicate with teachers. When teachers and school administrators post updates for your students' classes and activities, they will automatically be included in the jmc Family app!
Teacher Conference Scheduler: Our Teacher Conference Scheduler makes it convenient to set up any number of conference dates and allows families to sign up right within their jmc Family Portal. The Teacher Conference Scheduler in jmc Office, jmc Teacher, and the jmc Family Portal all work together to set up parent-teacher conferences to make sure everyone is on the same page for a smooth and pain-free conference experience.
Flex Scheduler: a number of enhancements and updates were made to jmc's Flex scheduler to make it even more intuitive.
GATE: General Admission To Events allows schools to easily monitor which students can access activities based on attendance.
Student Transfer feature: easily export and import student data when a student transfers between two jmc districts has been added to the Attendance module.
Form Designer Template: we added the ability to store a description with each custom-designed form to describe the form's intended use to other jmc Office users. Users now have the ability to choose a template from the stock form library so you can now hit the ground running with your new form.
Student Signable Forms: uploaded forms can now be signed by students as well as families in the jmc Family portal
Address Validation: when editing the address of a contact record, it will now validate the address with the USPS and offer close matches, which means no more returned school mail!
Seamless Summer Option: created Lunch Eligibility Notification Letters to make it simple for schools to notify families of their district's choice to participate in the program.
Summer Term: jmc now has the ability for schools to choose “Summer” as a term type designation for those courses in which students are enrolled.
In sum, 2021 has been a tremendous year for growth, for new product features and innovations, and for helping our partner schools succeed with technology. We’d like to thank each and every member of our jmc family for their support. We can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store!
